Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician to join their team. Requirements

• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work Saturdays (with Sundays off)
• Ability to stand up to eight hours per day and walk to gain access to various areas of the building
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
• Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus

Nice To Haves

• Some knowledge of basic automotive systems
• State Inspector License (certified or working toward it)
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous automotive experience
• High level of motivation and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing & rotation
• Conduct oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance
• Perform multi-point inspections & document vehicle conditions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment
• Drive vehicles safely and courteously, obeying all traffic laws
• Pick up parts and supplies
• Transport customers as needed
• Follow all safety procedures and report any concerns to direct supervisor
• Support team members with other assigned tasks
• Adhere to Sun Auto’s core values and company policies
