General Service Technician – Tire & Oil Service
About The Position
Crown City Tire Auto Care is looking for a full-time Tire & General Service Technician to join our Pasadena team. This is a great opportunity for someone who already has some automotive or tire experience and wants to build a long-term career as a technician. Your primary responsibilities will include oil services, tire replacement and repair, tire rotations, and vehicle health inspections. From there, our goal is to help you develop your skills in alignments, fluid services, brakes, and additional automotive repair work. We have a structured four-level technician career path, from Level 1 through Level 4, and we believe strongly in training and promoting technicians from within. If you're dependable, willing to learn, take pride in your work, and want an opportunity to become a higher-level automotive technician, we'd like to meet you.
Requirements
- Some automotive, tire, or mechanical experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to perform consistent, high-quality vehicle inspections.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
Nice To Haves
- Tire service experience is a plus.
- Experience with alignments, brakes, or preventative maintenance is a plus, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Performing oil and filter services.
- Mounting, balancing, replacing, and repairing tires.
- Performing tire rotations.
- Checking and adjusting tire pressures.
- Completing thorough vehicle health inspections.
- Identifying maintenance and safety concerns.
- Performing basic preventative maintenance services.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Following proper safety and quality-control procedures.
- Wheel alignments.
- Fluid maintenance services.
- Brake services.
- Additional mechanical repairs and maintenance.
