General Service Technician/Tire and Lube Technician

About The Position
Woodie’s Auto Service has been locally owned and operated since 1963, with multiple locations across Charlotte and Charleston. As you gain experience, you can work toward ASE certifications (paid by the company) and move into higher-level technician positions.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined and eager to learn
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
- Able to stand, kneel, and crawl while using tools and equipment
- At least 18 years old
- Valid driver’s license
- Personal tools (including pneumatic tools for basic services)
Responsibilities
- Perform tire installations and rotations
- Complete oil, lube, and filter services
- Install batteries
- Assist with inspections and basic mechanical repairs
- Work on all makes and models
- Follow proper procedures and maintain high-quality standards
