About The Position

We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what's right for our customers. Christian Brothers Automotive (CBA) began in 1982 with the simple premise of providing precision auto repair with transparency, integrity and a philosophy of people first. All 290+ CBA locations offer a modern facility equipped with manufacture-level diagnostic equipment and the latest factory scan tools. CBA shops also offer their technicians a consistent workload, free training, full-time live technician support and access to our private Technician Assistance Center.

Requirements

• Current driver’s licenses
• High school or equivalent diploma (preferred, not required)
• Ability to lift and/or move over 50 pounds
• Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
• Ability to work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
• Dexterity to efficiently use hand-tools
• Ability to walk/stand for the majority of the workday
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles
• Ability to maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
• Ability to efficiently navigate a computer

Responsibilities

• Perform all maintenance and repair services including but not limited to; oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, suspension alignments, and more
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
• Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate
• Comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect service operations, such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know
• Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Management
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a customer's vehicle
• Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
