About The Position

We are looking for a motivated and dependable Lube Technician to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and wants to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. No extensive experience is required. Previous automotive experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. As a Lube Technician, you will perform routine vehicle maintenance and specialized fluid services while providing a positive customer experience. You will rotate through various areas of the shop, including the upper bay, lower bay, greeter, and cashier positions. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Manager and Assistant Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to successfully complete the company's Lube Technician training program.
  • Ability to read and write English.
  • Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems.
  • Ability to learn and properly operate automotive service equipment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and coworkers.
  • Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude.
  • Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced garage environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous automotive experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance services, including: Oil and filter changes, Fluid checks and services, Tire pressure checks and inflation, Transmission fluid services, Differential services, Radiator and coolant services
  • Enter customer and vehicle maintenance information accurately into the computer system.
  • Explain services performed and recommended maintenance to customers.
  • Answer customer questions and provide prompt, professional, and courteous service.
  • Process customer payments accurately.
  • Rotate through all assigned Lube Technician responsibilities,
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop, customer area, restrooms, grounds, and work areas.
  • Sweep, mop, empty trash, and maintain overall cleanliness of the facility.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable safety regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
