General Service Auto Technician, Hayward CA
About The Position
We are looking for an Auto Tech – General Service to join our team. If you love working with cars and are eager to learn from the best in the biz, keep reading! You’ll get your hands dirty learning the ins and outs of the automotive technician field. With guidance, you’ll develop new skills to add to your growing toolbox. Other responsibilities include serving as an entry-level auto tech performing light duty maintenance, gaining familiarity with auto maintenance concepts and practices, performing auto maintenance tech duties, including oil and filter change, fuel filter change, transmission flush and vehicle inspection, performing battery testing, maintenance and replacement, performing various repairs including tires, safety inspections and interior/exterior components, complying with regulations regarding recyclables, fluids, tires and disposable trash, and utilizing approved vendors to obtain parts needed.
Requirements
- Generally, less than 2 years of experience.
- The ability to drive standard, automatic and electric vehicles.
- Safe drivers needed; valid driver’s license required.
- Must clear a pre-employment drug test.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship.

Responsibilities
- Serve as an entry-level auto tech performing light duty maintenance.
