About The Position

This position is about creating a memorable and unique experience for guests by ensuring they and associates have what they need when they need it. Runners work across various departments within the hotel, including housekeeping, engineering, banquets, restaurants, and the front office, to deliver items directly to guests or provide support. The role is critical for smooth hotel operations. Success in this role requires ensuring a safe workplace, adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining confidentiality, upholding quality standards, and presenting a professional appearance and communication style. The role involves significant physical activity and a hands-on approach to work.

Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for an extended time
• Ability to move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
• Ability to move up and down stairs and/or service ramps
• Ability to read and visually verify information in a variety of formats, including small print
• Ability to visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance
• Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
