About The Position

Jefferson Radiology is recruiting a fully remote Evening Diagnostic Radiologist to support its Connecticut practice. The position is designed for radiologists comfortable with high-acuity, emergency-setting interpretation, including studies from an urban Level I trauma center. Acute inpatient studies are an important part of the role. Coverage includes after-hours Emergency Department, inpatient, and STAT examinations, along with non-emergent ambulatory general radiology and, when mutually desirable, ambulatory studies in an appropriate subspecialty area such as Body, MSK, or Neuro. The role does not include mammography, interventional radiology, or nuclear medicine. Subspecialized support is available for complex or unfamiliar cases. The practice also offers potential teaching and academic engagement through its onsite radiology residency program. The remote swing schedule covers mid-afternoon through late evening Eastern Time, with shifts between 6 and 10 hours and scheduling options including 7-on/7-off or 7-on/14-off. An onsite option is available. Jefferson Radiology describes its culture as physician-led, collaborative, supportive, and focused on fairness, transparency, and work-life balance. The position offers a one-year partnership track, profit-sharing opportunities, and uncapped earning potential. Leadership interest and abilities may be an asset, including the opportunity to help develop programs and network collaborations. Jefferson Radiology is a Connecticut-based subspecialty group established in 1963, with more than 90 physicians and more than 400 non-physician staff members. Its technology and workflow include a Clario platform, RP’s AI-enabled MosaicOS platform, an enterprise PACS, cloud-based systems, and a 24/7 support team for logistics and clinician communications.
