About The Position

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist supports physicians during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The role prepares procedure rooms and equipment, assists during invasive cardiac cases, monitors patient status, and provides routine and emergency patient care. The specialist collaborates closely with the cath lab team, contributes to staff orientation and training, and participates in quality control and performance improvement initiatives. Cross-training across cardiac modalities, including electrophysiology, is supported.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Radiology or equivalent experience; new graduates are welcomed.
• One year of Cath Lab experience, or two years of Cath Lab experience in lieu of education.
• One of the following certifications is required: RCIS, ARRT-R (with TX MRT), RCES, CEPS, or CCDS.
• BLS and ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
