General Purpose Utility Operator

About The Position
This is a hands-on utility role supporting production and maintenance teams across the plant. You’ll observe, learn, and perform a wide variety of tasks, often serving as a relief or backup operator while gaining experience. Assist with production and maintenance tasks throughout the plant.
Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days or nights)
- Willingness to work weekends and mandatory overtime
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to work under close supervision and follow safety protocols
- Strong reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn
Nice To Haves
- Prior sit-down forklift experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
- Operate or attend auxiliary production equipment, including: Brushing machines, Die cast machines, Dinking tools, Material regrind equipment
- Help prepare, stage, and deliver process supplies
- Learn and perform forklift operation duties as needed
- Support plant operations through additional assigned tasks and basic clerical work
- Follow all safety procedures and work under the direction of experienced team members
