About The Position

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a General Production team member. JELD-WEN is one of the world’s largest door and window manufacturers, with over 22,000 employees globally. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, JELD-WEN designs, produces, and distributes a wide range of interior and exterior doors, wood, vinyl, and aluminum windows. This position will assist teams in providing value-added goods and services to customers.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills including fractions.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Manual labor work experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
• Work on door assembly lines
• Inspect all product for quality
• Material preparation and material handling
• Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
