About The Position

JELD-WEN is currently seeking a General Production to join our growing team. This role is responsible for Grading, Building, Cutting, Repairing, Painting, Buffing, Wrapping and/or Packaging.

Requirements

• Able to use and read a tape measurement

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut and prepare material to build interior doors.
• Assemble doors following the design specification.
• Able to use hand tools such as hand sander to perform repairs.
• Able to paint, buff, wrap and pack doors.
• Inspect and perform quality verification and take the necessary actions.
• Meet production standards.
• Maintain the area, equipment and machinery in a clean, orderly, and operational condition.
• Conforms with safety regulations per plant policies and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to, the use of safety glasses, ear plugs, masks, steel toed boots/shoes, and associated safety equipment in order to be on the plant floor.
• Reports unsafe conditions immediately to appropriate supervision.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
