General Production Night Shift

About The Position

JELD-WEN is a leading global designer, manufacturer and distributor of high-performance interior and exterior doors, windows and related building products serving the new construction and repair and remodeling sectors. This is a General Production position on the night shift, working Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM. Depending on assignment, team members may perform various duties related to the production of windows.

Requirements

• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Basic math skills including fractions.
• Ability to read/write/speak English.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Manual labor work experience preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Operate small and large machines in the production of windows
• Work on window assembly lines
• Inspect all product for quality
• Material preparation and material handling
• Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
• Other general warehouse duties as needed
