About The Position
JELD-WEN is currently seeking a General Production to join our growing team. The primary role of General Production is to perform tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Basic math skills including fractions.
- Ability to read/write/speak English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Manual labor work experience preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
- Work on door assembly lines
- Inspect all products for quality
- Material preparation and material handling
- Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
- Other general warehouse duties as needed
