About The Position
These positions involve low to intermediate skill labor, such as placing hams on machinery to be sliced, operating bandsaws, bagging hams, etc. This position could work in any department of this pork processing facility.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to Stand, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching are involved in all areas continuously.
- May involve climbing stairs/ladders.
- Must be willing and able to work in a cold and damp environment (35-45 degrees Fahrenheit).
- Lifting requirement varies from 0-65 lbs.
- Must be able and willing to work 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday.
- Occasional Sundays possible during the busy season.
- Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a MINIMUM rehire waiting period of 180 days and a 3 time hire limit.
- Must be able to provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S.
- Must pass a urinalysis screening as part of a post-offer health assessment.
- Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
