About The Position
This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Job duties could include: Accurately applying labels to shipping boxes, repeatedly stacking frozen product overhead (up to 40 lbs.), packing multiple bags of product into boxes, inspecting product and removing items from a moving conveyor belt, assisting with product handling, sorting, and/or stacking, removing waste, scrap, and recyclable materials according to plant procedures, keeping any chicken and any other trash off of the floor using a squeegee and a shovel to keep the floor clean, weighing product according to product specifications, and maintaining quality control and following safety standards in a fast-paced production environment. Working Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday shifts as needed. Performing all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 pounds
