About The Position
A general production worker will work on an assembly line to produce garage doors. You will be responsible to complete production orders accurately and safely in a timely manner. You will also cross train on other entry level positions and develop product knowledge.
Requirements
- Manual dexterity and hand to eye coordination for operation of hand/power tools.
- Ability to learn product.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate power tools.
- Ability to stand throughout the entire shift.
- Ability to perform short distance walking of 5-15 feet on a periodic basis.
- Ability to perform frequent stooping, bending, walking, carrying, and lifting.
- Ability to lift up to forty-five pounds.
- Ability to safely work with another team member to carry or lift door panels in excess of forty-five pounds.
- Ability to push carts, often requiring a force of 50lbs to move a loaded cart.
- Ability to occasionally pull to steer a cart.
