About The Position

JELD-WEN is hiring a General Production team member to support the production of doors and windows. Depending on assignment, the role may involve operating production machinery, working on assembly lines, inspecting products, machining items for hardware installation, preparing and handling materials, and staging and packaging finished products for delivery. The employee may also perform other general warehouse duties and work overtime as needed to meet customer demands. Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar environment is preferred but not required. The role requires adherence to all safety requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency with hand tools, including drills, staple guns, and miter saws.
• Ability to read job tickets and job orders.
• Attention to detail.
• Openness to cross-training.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally team-lift items exceeding 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for the duration of shifts and bend at times.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.
