About The Position
The primary role of General Production is to perform tasks with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. This involves operating machinery, working on assembly lines, inspecting products, preparing and handling materials, and packaging finished goods. The role also includes general warehouse duties and requires basic math and measurement skills.
Requirements
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Basic math skills including fractions.
- Ability to read/write/speak English.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
Nice To Haves
- Manual labor work experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Operate small and large machines in the production of doors
- Work on door assembly lines
- Inspect all products for quality
- Material preparation and material handling
- Staging and packaging finished product for delivery
- Other general warehouse duties as needed
