About The Position

This position is responsible for entry-level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Foods policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements

Must be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines.
Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Must be willing to be cross-trained and moved to other areas as needed.
Prior experience is not required.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing and able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform stretching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting, and reaching throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, push, and carry materials weighing between 15 and 50 pounds, depending on the assigned area.
Ability to stand for 8 to 12 hours per day on hard floors.
Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environments with temperatures ranging from 50°F to 120°F.

Responsibilities

Perform general labor duties in any department as assigned.
Work in positions that may include, but are not limited to, Stacker/Supplier, Food Assembly, Hand Wrapper, and Sanitation.
Maintain a safe work environment while following Tyson Foods policies and procedures.
Support production operations and assist in meeting production deadlines.
Work in different departments and areas of the facility as needed through cross-training.
