About The Position

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. These positions could work in any department of the Material Handling facility.

Requirements

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Must be willing to work in extreme cold or hot (33 degrees to 100 degrees), dry environments.
Must be willing to work above shoulder level.
Must be willing to work walking/standing 8-12 hours a day on concrete floors or grating.
Must be willing to work in areas that are up 5 stories tall with open grade flooring where ground level will be visible.
Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit.

Minimal use of hand-held scanners.

Responsibilities

Constant box handling throughout the entire area.
Repeatedly push, pull, lift and carry up to 100 pounds or more if required.
Work in extreme cold or hot (33 degrees to 100 degrees), dry environments.
Work above shoulder level.
