About The Position

Conagra Brands is seeking a General Production - Line Service associate for their Fayetteville, AR plant. This role reports to the Team Lead and is responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting production equipment to ensure continuous production. The associate will service packaging lines with supplies, transport ingredients and materials, and ensure all safety, GMP, and quality standards are met to maintain efficient product flow. This is a physical position in a manufacturing environment with large machinery and moving parts. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and safety regulations.
Must meet company performance standards.
Must participate in company orientation and training.
Must be able to access all levels of the structure and related equipment.
Must understand and adhere to “Good Manufacturing Procedures.”
Ability to lift boxes of up to 40 pounds.
Ability to climb stairs.
Ability to use hands to move things.
Ability to be on feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
Ability to perform consistent repetitive tasks.
Ability to frequently lift, push or carry materials.

Nice To Haves

Pallet jack and or Forklift operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and troubleshoot the operation of production equipment.
Service packaging lines with supplies from storage/staging areas.
Transport pans, racks, tubs, and totes of ingredients and materials to assigned lines.
Observe all safety regulations and ensure GMP and quality standards are met.
Maintain the efficient flow of high-quality product through the production process.
Check schedule and complete pass-over with the previous shift operator.
Perform safety checks on equipment.
Verify proper supplies are available in the staging area.
Transport/assist/line feed/stabbers and rotate positions as directed.
Obtain proper tools/utensils and verify ingredients/components and record lot numbers.
Remove lot labels or production tags from containers.
Service hand placement with pans of meat components.
Strip, split, and supply tubed meat to the production line.
Obtain racks of pans, boxes, buckets, tubes, tubs, or totes of ingredients and position to workstation.
Manually break up frozen components in tubs/totes.
Manually load buckets of vegetables into feeders and dump products into tubs for hand placement.
Obtain packaging material from staging areas and position to appropriate line station.
Change film rolls as needed and weigh product on scales.
Assist other line personnel as required.
Complete other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Keep work area clear and clean.
Run out product and complete change-overs and sanitation clean-up.
Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Prepare and secure all equipment as required at the end of the shift.
