General Production Laborer (7am-3pm)
About The Position
The General Production Laborer will perform department operation procedures which may include assembly, filling, and packaging of products. This role requires adherence to and meeting of quality standards, with the ability to adjust processes as needed. The associate will also be responsible for quality checks, data collection, entering production quantities and material usage into a computer-based system, and participating in process improvement teams. Adherence to New Pig's Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards is essential. Additionally, the role involves exemplifying New Pig's core values, supporting company policies, contributing to a positive work environment, and responding promptly to communications. All other duties as assigned will also be part of the responsibilities.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to perform math functions
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds continuously and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Capable of producing all products to standard rate
- Capable of retrieving and applying all quality information
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
- Must demonstrate a commitment to all tasks assigned
- Willing to share input to improve manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with basic computer use
- Ability to work overtime when necessary

Responsibilities
