About The Position

This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing, including the DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration. Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions. Must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments, and reach above shoulder level. Be able to stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces. Able to perform repetitive motion. Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas. Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard. ATTENTION: These positions may involve the use of a knife and or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product or involve the use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines. All applicants must provide their government identification number so the system can verify any previous Tyson employment history. This facility accepts rehires after 365 days and only if the applicant has not worked more than two previous times for Tyson. Tyson reserves the right to require longer waiting periods or not accept rehires based on the reason for dismissal. Certain roles at Tyson require background checks.
