About The Position

This role involves performing various production tasks in a manufacturing environment. Team members are responsible for inspecting packages, placing correct items into cases, sealing cases, and operating manual palletizing equipment. They will also ensure product stacks are properly prepared, graded according to customer and Tyson quality specifications, and know approximate product weights for orders. The position requires adherence to safety culture and may involve other assigned duties.

Requirements

Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Willing and able to frequently lift and/or move up to 61 pounds.
Use both hands equally.
Regularly required to stand, use hands/fingers to handle, or feel.
Frequently required to walk.
Use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work in an environment with wet and/or humid conditions, and extreme cold.
Work in an environment where the noise level is usually loud.

Responsibilities

Perform all work duties safely and maintain the Tyson safety culture.
Receive training as required.
Perform other duties/positions as required/assigned.
Inspect packages for packaging defects based on job ticket information.
Place correct packages into cases and seal the cases as required.
Control manual palletizing equipment to sort, transfer, and stack finished products on pallet containers.
Ensure product stacks are properly prepared and product is properly graded.
Prepare product stacks according to customer and Tyson quality specifications.
Know approximate weights of product for orders.
