General Production
About The Position
International Paper is seeking General Production Associates for their Austin Box Plant. This is a full-time, hourly position with a 24/5 schedule (Monday - Friday), requiring weekend availability. Associates will be responsible for safe manufacturing procedures, operating fast-paced machinery, inspecting and counting finished products, reading manufacturing orders, and utilizing measurement tools and basic math skills. The role also involves completing quality and administrative documents, following directions, and performing clean-up functions such as blowing down machines, wiping shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping, and managing scrap.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma/GED preferred or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus

Responsibilities

- Clean-up functions such as blowing down machine, wiping off shafts, cleaning ink systems, vacuuming, sweeping machine area as well as picking up and shredding scrap
