About The Position

Polymer Concepts Technologies PBY, Inc. KRS Division dba Kaydon Ring & Seal (“KRS”) is responsible for Aerospace and Industrial applications. KRS has a customer portfolio that includes all major players in the Aerospace and Industrial industries. Our business is fully customer focused, with products specifically designed for an engine/airframe application and then produced in small quantities and small lots on highly flexible equipment. Extreme product range fragmentation, complex product design, very high-quality standards and traceability requirements are the peculiarity of KRS.

Requirements

• HSD or GED.
• Must meet requirements for Export Control / ITAR Compliance.
• Must be able to operate a motorized vehicle safely and become licensed with Company training during first thirty (30) days of employment.
• Ability to train on shift other than home shift.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety and quality policies.
• Follows Company rules/policies.
• Communicates with supervision on regular basis.
• Enters and update work order tickets.
• Sweeping, cleaning and removal of all types of waste.
• Remove refuse, chips, and cuttings from machinery and facility areas.
• Separate chips and cuttings by material type.
• Fill lubricant and cleaning containers.
• Labeling containers to identify contents.
• Count and report on existing and available containers.
• Simple painting such as lines, racks, fire plugs, etc.
• Clean machines, equipment, offices and lavatories.
• Operate cardboard crusher and steam Genie on a limited basis.
• Wash and flush products.
• May assist in the movement of machinery and/or equipment.
• Remove and install lift truck motor batteries.
• Transport work and/or materials.
• Perform janitorial services, digging, waxing, grass cutting, snow and other shoveling.
• Maintain sanitary accessories throughout the plant.
• Load and unload vehicles.
• Work inside or outside.
• Use rider type lift trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area and equipment.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
