About The Position

This role encompasses various positions including Machine Operator, Inspector/Packer, Material Handler (Crane/Forklift/CombiLift), Saw/Rattunde Operator, and Vertical Mills. Responsibilities involve operating diverse machinery, from overhead cranes to saws and forklifts. Tasks include loading/unloading materials, cutting and deburring tubing, ensuring product quality, and maintaining equipment safety. The role requires reviewing computerized work lists, prioritizing orders, and coordinating with other operators for material run order. Daily operational and safety checklists must be completed, and necessary setups performed during shifts.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent is required.
• Supplemented with technical college, vocational training, or coursework in machining.
• After training, must be able to operate a variety of industrial machines safely and efficiently.
• Mathematical skills equivalent to high school level including the ability to do decimals, fractions and averages required.
• Must be able to communicate, both in written and verbal form, effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Regular attendance at work and punctuality are essential job functions.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operation of a variety of machines ranging from operating overhead cranes to saws and forklifts.
• Loading/unloading materials onto/off of machines.
• Cutting and deburring tubing while ensuring a quality product.
• Ensure that the equipment is in a safe operating condition.
• Review the computerized work list for the equipment, locate the available material and prioritizes the orders to be processed.
• Communicates with the other operators to formulate the run order of material.
• Performs any necessary set-up during shift.
• Complete daily Operational and Safety Checklists.
