About The Position

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified General Otolaryngologist to join its Otolaryngology care program in the College Station region, with offices in College Station and Brenham, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity within a physician-led, multidisciplinary health system offering comprehensive ENT services. The role includes general ENT practice, outpatient care, surgery, and inpatient service. The department currently has two providers. The call schedule is 1:7 and is expected to grow to 1:8 with the addition of a new surgeon. The physician will work with other professionals across an integrated health system. The College Station hospital is a Level III Trauma Center and has an on-campus ambulatory surgery center. The practice uses Epic EMR.

Requirements

Doctorate degree in medicine.
Licensed to practice medicine in Texas by the Texas Medical Board.
Board certified in the specialty where applicable, or demonstrate certification by the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists.
Board eligible or board certified in general otolaryngology.
Committed team player with a favorable work and training history.
Focused on quality and able to collaborate effectively with other professionals.

Responsibilities

Provide general otolaryngology care.
Deliver outpatient care and provide surgical and inpatient services.
Collaborate with referring physicians, agencies, and other professionals to provide optimum patient care.
Participate in the call schedule, currently 1:7 and expected to become 1:8 with the addition of a new surgeon.
