Multiple Job functions exist within the Operator Family Job Roles, each with compensation relative to the specific job description. Job Functions for this posting include the following: 1 - IXM Finishing and Inspection Operator 2 - IXM WX Operator

Requirements

  • All applicants must possess a high school diploma or GED.
  • Possess a mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be willing and able to work a 12 hr rotating shift including overtime required to meet production needs within existing policies.
  • Must be willing and able to frequently lift and move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Applicant must successfully complete the validated Industrial Aptitude Battery Testing used in the Chemours hiring process.

  • Prior work experience in a manufacturing environment including contractor role within similar operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provides for safety focus as well as efficient and effective operation for shift production tasks, Finishing and Inspection, Wet Out, Water Jet Cutting and Packaging of orders meeting established customer commitments.
  • Take required samples; log into LIMS (Lab Information Management System), retrieve data and post in proper areas.
  • Operation of fork truck and pallet jack.
  • Safely set up, inspect, cut and package both dry membrane, fuel cell films and stored energy film using experience and accuracy required for customer required quality and on-time delivery.
  • Knowledge and accurate execution of the pack-out / shipment processes.
  • Performing primary or secondary independent verification for customer order accuracy in a manner that is totally customer focused.
  • Successfully performing various tasks for processing, packaging, and shipping of materials in a manufacturing environment that requires attention to detail and total customer focus.
  • Availability to travel with team to off-site vendor production facility for processing of material. Required to stay / lodge in Greensboro N.C. for periods of time of up to 5 nights.
