About The Position

We are looking for Entry Level Machine Operators to join our team! At West Bend, we specialize in cream cheese – that meet our customers’ needs and appeal to consumer tastes worldwide. Responsibilities will be to manufacture, maintain, and process bulk dairy ingredients utilizing filling machines in accordance with Food Safety guidelines. Cleaning, sanitizing and maintaining equipment to company standards, forming boxes and packaging final product, operate pallet jacks and other general labor duties as assigned.

Requirements

Reliability - Regular attendance is a requirement
Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely with minimal supervision
Self-motivated, detail orientated individual who possesses a results-oriented mindset
One who works well in a team environment and has a proactive "can-do" mentality
Basic math skills and reading comprehension
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on regular basis
Must be able to work safely and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Perform varied tasks in the packing of cream cheese to include: operating a 30 lb. or 50 lb. filler, making, weighing and sealing boxes, maintaining quality, packing various product into larger cartons, feeding or packing tubs or cups, lift truck pallets to cooler.
Perform various clean-up functions of equipment used for packaging, processing, and sanitation as needed
Train partners to fulfill similar roles
Take physical inventory
Must be able to work safely and in a team environment.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on regular basis
Perform other general labor tasks as assigned by leader
