About The Position

McCain Foods (Canada) is currently seeking a General Operator to join our Valley Farm Team in Grand Falls, N.B. for the Fall Harvest Season. This seasonal role supports the Valley Farm Team during the Fall Harvest and includes operating farm equipment, supporting general maintenance, and following all safety and Good Manufacturing Practices requirements.

Requirements

• Valid Truck Driver License, Class 3 with Air Brakes.
• Ability to operate farm machinery, SS Loader, and Forklift.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
• Team player with excellent attendance.
• Highly motivated and observant, with good initiative and a positive attitude.
• Good safety record and demonstrated commitment to safety-first practices.

Nice To Haves

• Valid Pesticide License would be an asset.
• Background in Agriculture would be an asset.
• Grade 12 education or GED would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate farm machinery, SS Loader, and Forklift as required.
• Perform general maintenance duties as assigned.
• Follow all safety requirements and promote a safe work environment.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Work effectively in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal supervision.
• Work long hours and weekends as needed during harvest periods.
• Lift 25-30 lbs regularly and, at times, in excess of 50 lbs.
• Complete additional duties as assigned.
