About The Position

The General Manager, Wholesale Distribution Centers is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational execution of Fanatics’ wholesale distribution network in Waxahachie, TX. This role oversees all aspects of multi-site distribution operations, including inbound, outbound, inventory management, workforce planning, and customer fulfillment, ensuring best-in-class service to wholesale partners. The General Manager drives operational excellence, scalability, and cost efficiency while fostering a high-performance culture aligned with Fanatics’ values. This leader will partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Merchandising, Transportation, and Technology teams to deliver seamless execution during both peak and non-peak periods.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations Management, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in distribution, fulfillment, or supply chain operations
  • Proven experience managing multi-site distribution center operations, preferably in high-volume or eCommerce/wholesale environments
  • Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), labor management systems (LMS), and automation technologies
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, diverse teams (300+ employees)
  • Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen)
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets and driving cost efficiencies
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and change management skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide end-to-end leadership for two high-volume distribution centers, ensuring alignment with company goals, service level agreements (SLAs), and financial targets
  • Drive operational performance across receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and returns processing
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve productivity, throughput, and accuracy while reducing costs
  • Lead workforce planning, staffing strategies, and labor optimization across both sites, including seasonal ramp planning
  • Champion a culture of safety, compliance, and continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies)
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as order accuracy, on-time shipping, inventory accuracy, and cost per unit
  • Partner with Transportation and Logistics teams to ensure efficient inbound and outbound flow
  • Collaborate with Technology and Engineering teams to implement WMS enhancements, automation, and process improvements
  • Manage site leadership teams (Directors, Managers, Supervisors), providing coaching, development, and succession planning
  • Oversee budget planning, P&L accountability, and cost control initiatives for both facilities
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company standards
  • Lead peak season readiness and execution, ensuring scalability and operational resilience
