About The Position

Waverly Heights is currently seeking a full-time General Mechanic to join our team. Our General Mechanics are critical to ensuring the comfort, safety, and well-being of our residents. Our full-time General Mechanics are scheduled for 40 hours per week and will include weekend on-call rotation. Requirements

  • Previous experience as a general mechanic or similar role is required.
  • Solid understanding of maintenance procedures, mechanical systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and other facilities-related equipment.
  • Exceptional customer services skills
  • A positive attitude
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

  • Performing routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections of mechanical systems throughout the community
  • Conducting preventive maintenance tasks to ensure the longevity and efficiency of our facilities, including HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical
  • Responding promptly to work orders and requests from various departments to address mechanical issues and ensure resident satisfaction
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to identify potential issues and implement solutions to enhance overall community safety and functionality
