Requirements
- At least 1 year of proven experience in retail management, grocery, or food service/hospitality management is highly preferred.
- Dependable, punctual, and flexible enough to manage a busy market, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills to motivate staff, build vendor relationships, and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Tech-savvy and adaptable, able to handle POS glitches and shifting priorities with ease.
Responsibilities
- Manage orders for the Produce department and Deli/Pizza Kitchen, ensuring freshness and minimizing waste.
- Lead the team by scheduling, motivating, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Serve as the main point of communication for employees, creating a collaborative and efficient atmosphere.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and regional vendors to ensure timely deliveries and fair pricing.
- Monitor market trends and margins, making accurate price adjustments across the store.
- Resolve register/POS issues, updates, and minor technical challenges.
