About The Position

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is looking for a 4th Shift General Manufacturing Manager 1 to join their team in Linthicum, MD. This role involves the direct supervision of approximately 20-25 represented (union) employees and processes within an EMIT - ACT Manufacturing environment. The manager will work independently across organizations, manage consumable usage to meet budget targets, assign and manage represented EMS Operators for maximum efficiency and yield, implement process improvements for affordability, quality, and schedule, and perform necessary SAP/MES transactions for operators, test techs, and M&P Specialists. The 4th shift operates on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7 am to 7 pm.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment; Master’s Degree with 3 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment; High School Diploma or GED with 9 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, IT or Engineering environment may be considered in lieu of degree
Experience leading and/or managing people and/or projects
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Level Security Clearance
U.S. Citizenship required
