About The Position

The General Manager is the most trusted member of the leadership team and is responsible for the restaurant's overall success. This role oversees daily operations, financial performance, team development, guest experience, and operational standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and leads by example. They inspire teams, maintain strong operational discipline, and create memorable experiences for both guests and staff.

Requirements

  • 10+ years as a General Manager in full-service, high-volume restaurants.
  • Proven success managing $4M+ in annual revenue.
  • Expert-level understanding of P&L, labor, and cost controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and retain strong management teams.
  • Hands-on operator — not an office manager.
  • Leads from the floor, not from behind a desk.
  • Thrives in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Direct, accountable, and results-driven.
  • Takes full ownership — no excuses.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations, financial performance, team development, guest experience, and operational standards.
  • Hit and maintain labor + COGS targets.
  • Drive top-line sales while protecting margins.
  • Own weekly P&L review and corrective action.
  • Execute every shift at a high level — no drop-offs.
  • Maintain consistent food quality, service, and standards.
  • Flawless execution of scheduling, inventory, and systems.
  • Build and retain a strong management bench.
  • Develop leaders — not just staff.
  • Hold team accountable with clear expectations and follow-through.
  • Create a high-energy, hospitality-driven culture.
  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally.
  • Build a base of repeat, loyal guests.
  • Manage full restaurant operations (FOH + BOH alignment).
  • Manage hiring, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Manage labor, scheduling, and cost control.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, and systems (POS, payroll, etc.).
  • Manage culture, standards, and overall restaurant performance.
