About The Position

Lexington Hotel Group is seeking a highly motivated individual with Hilton experience to lead the operation of our Hilton Garden Inn Midtown. Responsibilities include managing the hotel's overall operation through maintaining established cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees and exceeding guest expectations. The ideal candidate is one who is ready to work hard. This position is responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and associate satisfaction and effectiveness and efficiencies. A commitment to creating and maintaining a quality product and guest/associate relations is a must.

Requirements

  • Hilton experience
  • Ready to work hard
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office systems
  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in primary language used in the workplace
  • Stand, sit, and walk frequently throughout the workday
  • Lift, lower, push, pull, and maneuver up to 30 pounds occasionally

Nice To Haves

  • Yield management experience preferred
  • Successful sales background is a plus
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and PC skills

Responsibilities

  • Managing the hotel's overall operation through maintaining established cost and quality standards, maximizing profits, developing and retaining employees and exceeding guest expectations.
  • Consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and associate satisfaction and effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Creating and maintaining a quality product and guest/associate relations.
  • Maximizes room revenues by anticipating and planning for market shifts.
  • Develops and monitors strategic marketing prospects.
  • Develops, implements and monitors annual business and marketing plans.
  • Participates in appropriate national marketing efforts.
  • Establish and maintain a proactive human resources function to ensure employee motivation, training and development, wage/benefit administration and compliance with policies and procedures and labor regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong diplomacy skills with focus on problem solving.
  • Strong administrative skills with intermediate experience with Microsoft Office systems.
