About The Position

At Dave's Hot Chicken, we're not just serving up mouthwatering chicken; we’re building a community of passionate people who love flavor, fun, and a fast-paced environment. We’re expanding quickly and looking for a dynamic, experienced, and driven General Manager to lead our team and take our restaurant to the next level! The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring a high standard of food quality, customer service, and team performance. As the GM, you will play a key role in fostering a positive, collaborative work culture, driving sales, and ensuring operational excellence. This is a leadership position that requires strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant management, preferably in a fast-casual or QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Proven track record of managing teams and driving operational success.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and operational procedures.
• Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets, labor, and food costs.
• Passion for food, hospitality, and creating an outstanding customer experience.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of managers and staff to achieve operational goals and exceed customer expectations.
• Oversee daily operations, including inventory, staffing, customer service, and food safety.
• Drive sales through effective marketing, promotions, and community engagement.
• Manage the P&L, ensuring profitability while maintaining operational efficiency.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company standards at all times.
• Handle employee performance, training, and development, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally.
• Monitor and maintain restaurant budget, controlling labor and food costs.
