About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, and receiving/processing telephone orders. This role also involves taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to accurately handle monetary transactions, and proficiency in using computer systems for order entry. Additionally, the General Manager must be able to lead by example, coach, and train new employees, and may be required to deliver product and marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change.
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
  • Must be able to lead by example and coach/train new employees.

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment.
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler.
  • Prepare product.
  • Receive and process telephone orders.
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
  • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
  • Make correct monetary change.
  • Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
  • Comprehend and give correct written instructions.
  • Communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
  • Deliver product by car and then to door of customer.
  • Deliver flyers and door hangers.
  • Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
  • Lead by example and coach/train new employees.
