About The Position
The General Manager operates equipment; stocks ingredients from delivery areas to storage, work areas, and walk-in coolers; prepares products; receives and processes telephone orders; takes inventory and completes related paperwork; and cleans equipment and the facility approximately daily. The role also includes delivering products by car to customers’ doors and distributing flyers and door hangers. The position requires accurate and quick basic arithmetic, making correct monetary change, and verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. It requires motor coordination to make precise movements quickly, the ability to enter orders by computer keyboard or touch screen, and the ability to understand and provide written instructions. The General Manager communicates with customers and co-workers in person and by phone, reads maps and locates addresses within the delivery area, and navigates varied terrain—including multi-story buildings and private homes—while carrying products. Salary is $52,000–$70,000, plus applicable bonus. Benefits listed include a 401(k) plan, health insurance for full-time positions, and bonus eligibility for management roles. Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly, using a calculator if needed.
