About The Position

Bean Sprouts Café is a women-owned, award-winning, hip & healthy café concept located inside family destinations such as children's museums and science centers. About the General Manager Position The General Manager is responsible for both strategic planning and oversight of the day-to-day operations. The General Manager will act as liaison with our museum partner, and ensure each guest has an exceptional Bean Sprouts experience. The General Manager leads and directs all aspects of the Café including: Creating a positive and playful environment for team members and guests, Delivering an exceptional guest experience, Ensuring exceptional preparation and presentation of all menu items, Growing sales and managing costs, Hiring, training, and ongoing team development, Managing ordering and inventory, Maintaining compliance with all food safety standards and applicable regulations.

Requirements

3-5 years of progressive food service experience
At least one year of full-time general management experience (supervising the whole business unit, including Profit & Loss responsibility)
Strong leadership skills and experience with training and development
Excellent customer service skills
Demonstrated sales building, training, and basic computer skills
Culinary training or hands-on experience in the kitchen
Manager's Food Handler's Certification (if you don't have one, we will help you get one!)
Be able to reach, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds and work in a standing position for long periods of time with or without accommodation
Successful passage of a criminal background screen is required to meet position eligibility.
