Job SummaryThe General Manager oversees all operations, financial performance, and guest experience for Queenie’s Restaurant at the United Center. This role provides hands‑on leadership for a high‑volume, event‑driven environment while maintaining exceptional service, staff engagement, and profitability.
Requirements
- 5+ years of restaurant management experience; GM experience preferred
- Proven success in high‑volume or event‑based operations
- Strong leadership, financial, and communication skills
- Availability for nights, weekends, and event schedules
- Exceptional leadership presence, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, event-driven environments with shifting priorities.
- Flexible schedule required—must be available to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and late-night events.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily restaurant operations and event‑day execution
- Manage budgets, P&L, labor, and cost controls
- Hire, train, and develop management and hourly teams
- Ensure outstanding guest experience and brand standards
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and alcohol regulations
- Partner with United Center stakeholders to support venue goals
