About The Position

This position is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and profitability of the hotel, overseeing all departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction, team member engagement, operational excellence, and financial performance. The General Manager develops and implements business strategies, manages budgets, revenue, expenses, and hotel operations, ensures compliance with brand standards, company policies, and safety regulations, and leads hiring, training, coaching, and performance management of team members. The role works closely with department heads to achieve revenue and guest service goals, monitors quality assurance and operational performance, resolves guest concerns, supports sales and marketing initiatives, maintains strong community and business relationships, and fosters a positive, service-focused culture while ensuring the hotel operates efficiently, safely, and profitably.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous hotel, restaurant, or hospitality experience is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of hotel operations, guest service, and team leadership is desired
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage daily operations, support and develop team members, and maintain high service and performance standards in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with computers and technical systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Able to use office equipment efficiently and accurately
  • Ability to obtain any required government or brand-specific permits, licenses, or certifications
  • Requires a motor vehicle and background check
