About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, including the ability to comprehend and give written instructions, and to verbally communicate with customers and co-workers. Essential functions include accurate and quick mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, and using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, fluctuating in-store temperatures, food odors, commercial dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks including forceful pinching and grasping. Tools and equipment used include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutters, pizza peels, and hand trucks. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customers, which requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses, and the ability to navigate various terrains and multi-story buildings while carrying product. Physical demands for delivery include carrying pizzas, sides, and beverages, driving within a designated area, walking to and from the delivery vehicle, and climbing stairs. Delivery personnel are also exposed to varying weather conditions.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
