About The Position

This is an opportunity to lead the repositioning of an already successful Marriott hotel into the premier select-service hotel in the Texarkana market. The role involves working alongside experienced ownership and executive leadership during a substantial renovation designed to elevate every aspect of the guest experience while preserving the operational excellence that guests expect from the Marriott brand. This is a rare opportunity to leave a lasting legacy on the hotel and on one of the fastest-growing hospitality companies in the region. DPN Collection is an owner-operator and hospitality management company focused on creating exceptional guest experiences, developing outstanding people, and delivering superior financial results. The company is experiencing rapid growth, operating eight hotels with a ninth opening soon and a tenth under development.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of successful Hotel General Manager experience in a branded hotel environment
  • Proven success achieving guest satisfaction and financial performance goals
  • Strong understanding of hotel P&L management, labor productivity, and revenue optimization
  • Demonstrated ability to build and retain exceptional teams
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead through change while maintaining exceptional guest and associate experiences

Nice To Haves

  • Marriott select-service experience strongly preferred
  • Experience leading renovations, property improvement plans, operational turnarounds, or hotel repositioning efforts is highly desirable
  • Candidates from other major hotel brands—including Hilton, Hyatt, and IHG—are encouraged to apply if they bring a strong operational background, a proven history of success, and the ability to quickly learn Marriott systems and culture.
