About The Position

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including staff management, inventory control, customer service, and financial performance. This role involves supervising managers and team members to ensure adherence to company policies, operational standards, and labor goals. The General Manager plays a key role in fostering a positive work environment, managing performance, and ensuring the overall success and profitability of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

  • Supervising managers to ensure correct opening/closing procedures and adherence to company and labor policies.
  • Overseeing managers and staff to achieve goals of order accuracy and exceptional guest service.
  • Supervising and controlling daily and weekly inventory, chicken counts, and waste.
  • Ensuring the management team maintains a professional, safe, and orderly work environment.
  • Addressing and resolving customer complaints, escalating when necessary.
  • Assisting with operational duties to ensure cleaning schedules are met.
  • Creating weekly schedules and meeting labor goals and percentages.
  • Ensuring daily inventory is completed on all shifts.
  • Ensuring truck orders are made appropriately to meet food cost goals.
  • Approving weekly inventory and ensuring accurate record-keeping of cost of goods.
  • Identifying and resolving discrepancies with costs of goods.
  • Recruiting, orienting, training, assigning, and scheduling team members.
  • Managing all in-store cash handling.
  • Managing performance, including coaching, counseling, and disciplining team members, in collaboration with the District Manager.
  • Communicating job expectations, monitoring performance, and enforcing policies and procedures.
  • Performing regular restaurant inspections to ensure standards are met.
  • Providing a great culture and environment for the staff.
  • Correcting service issues with grace and courtesy to cultivate returning customers.
  • Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing and enforcing sanitation and safety procedures, complying with regulations, and maintaining security systems.
  • Responsible for the development of all in-store managers.
