About The Position

General Managers are responsible for the overall operations of the store they are assigned to, including but not limited to accounting, marketing, customer service, human resources, and food service. They manage, assist, and direct the store team in their duties as required by company policy and procedures.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
1+ years of retail management experience or equivalent educational background.
A valid driver’s license.
Must be at least 18.
Professional appearance and a positive attitude.
Team player, customer focused, honest, hardworking, and excellent attendance.
Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

Manage, assist, and direct store team in their duties as required by company policy and procedures.
Provide customers with service as outlined by the company’s policies and procedures.
Ensure timely and thorough training of store team.
Effectively address issues at store level to assure long-term problem resolution.
Educate store team and follow up on policies and communications.
Evaluate displays, pricing, promotional signage, and out of stocks for merchandising and inventory levels.
Practice and promote the FiveStar treatment (friendly atmosphere, customer’s needs met, suggestive selling).
Ensure inventory control methods are in place, equipment is in good condition, adequate staffing, following labor budget, completing accounting and paperwork tasks timely, and safety and robbery prevention guidelines are in place.
Oversee food operation, evaluating appearance of food service areas, food quality, tracking, promotions, signage, and following food service guidelines.
Review P&L statements and implement changes to improve store performance.
