About The Position

This role involves operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing product, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, and cleaning equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to comprehend and give instructions, and verbal skills for customer and co-worker interaction. Essential functions include accurate mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, using a computer keyboard or touch screen, and navigational skills for deliveries. Team members will experience varying weather conditions, in-store temperature fluctuations, food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensing requirements include talking and hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, differentiating hot/cold surfaces, and far/night vision for driving. Temperaments needed are the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical requirements include standing for most tasks, walking for short distances, sitting for paperwork, lifting up to 50 pounds, carrying items, pushing/pulling dollies, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and reaching continuously. Additional duties include driving for deliveries, maintaining cost controls, inventory control, cash control, customer relations, and adhering to all policies and procedures. Specific responsibilities include staffing, paperwork, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining image and standards, customer service, attendance, store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.

  • Eye-hand coordination is essential.
  • Use of hands is continuous during the day.
  • Frequently activities require use of one or both hands.
  • Frequent and/or forceful use of forearms and wrists.
  • Manipulate a pizza peel.
  • Frequent and/or forceful pinching for assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
  • Grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
  • Utilize pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and pizza peel.
  • Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.

Responsibilities
