About The Position

Coffee Dose is a vibrant and rapidly growing coffee brand known for its unique aesthetic, high-quality beverages, and exceptional customer experience. Our Costa Mesa location is our flagship store, serving as a beacon for our brand and a hub for our community. We are looking for an experienced, passionate, and dynamic leader to manage all aspects of this critical location. The General Manager for our Flagship location will be the driving force behind its success, responsible for all daily operations, team leadership, and the overall customer experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who can maintain Coffee Dose's high standards of quality, service, and brand integrity, while also driving profitability and fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

Proven experience (4+ years) in a management role within a coffee shop, restaurant, or retail food service industry, preferably in a high-volume location.
Strong understanding of coffee preparation techniques, industry trends, and food safety standards.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a team.
Exceptional customer service skills and a genuine passion for creating positive guest experiences.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in managing inventory, scheduling, and POS systems.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the business needs.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Oversee all day-to-day operations of the flagship store, ensuring seamless service, efficient workflow, and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
Maintain the highest standards of product quality, presentation, and consistency for all coffee, food, and merchandise offerings.
Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
Manage equipment maintenance and troubleshoot operational issues promptly.
Recruit, hire, train, and onboard a high-performing team of baristas and shift supervisors.
Foster a positive, collaborative, and energetic work environment that motivates staff and promotes teamwork.
Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify opportunities for staff development and growth.
Create and manage employee schedules to ensure appropriate staffing levels while adhering to labor budgets.
Address employee relations issues and ensure a fair and respectful workplace.
Champion an exceptional customer experience, ensuring every guest feels welcomed, valued, and satisfied.
Actively engage with customers, solicit feedback, and resolve any concerns or complaints with professionalism and a solutions-oriented approach.
Promote Coffee Dose's brand values and create a memorable atmosphere that aligns with our unique identity.
Manage the store's budget, including labor costs, inventory, and operational expenses, to achieve profitability targets.
Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer traffic.
Oversee cash handling procedures, daily deposits, and financial reporting accuracy.
Serve as a passionate brand ambassador for Coffee Dose, embodying our values and vision.
Work with the marketing team on in-store promotions, events, and local community engagement to drive brand awareness and customer loyalty.
